Proof of Independency

You may be required to show proof of independency if you have emancipated prior to age seventeen. In these cases, please see your social worker.

You may also be asked to provide proof of independency when attending college. In these instances, the college uses the information to determine your residency, which effects the cost of your tuition. Check with the school admissions office to determine their specific requirements.
