The most common sign of having a habit is needing the feeling the drug gives you. You feel out of control and it becomes very hard to say no. You’ll find you are taking it regularly and you’ll find yourself having to take more drugs to get the same effect. Eventually, you’ll find that you can’t seem to cope without it and then it has become a habit.
If you’ve become dependent on a drugs or alcohol, or feel you are on the path to addiction, it can be hard to regain control of your life. You may need some help, although you may feel totally helpless. The first thing to realize is that you are not alone and there are many people who you can approach with your problem. These may be people you see often as well as people who offer special help in this area.
